The French Presidential TV debate gets heated; Australia tightens up immigration rules.

The French Presidential TV debate gets heated; Australia tightens up immigration rules; Violent protests in Venezuela over President Maduro's plans to change the constitution.

With only a few days until France heads to the polls the debate is heating up. On Wednesday evening the candidates clashed in a spirited head-to-head live on French television. Alberto Alemanno, Professor at the HEC Business School in Paris, watched the whole broadcast and gives us his verdict on the performances.  

With immigration and employment becoming twin political flashpoints across the globe, the latest country to tighten up its visa rules is Australia. Sanjoy Majumder tells us how this is affecting Indian skilled labourers and their prospects of entering the country. 

Opposition protesters have clashed with riot police in cities across Venezuela. The latest anger is fueled by President Nicolas Maduro's recent decree that creates a 500-member constituent body to rewrite the constitution. BBC Mundo's Daniel Garcia brings us up to date on the situation in the country. 

Department stores used to be the giants of the retail world. More recently though they've seen massive closures and a huge shift of employment away from the sector as shopping habits change. Is this decline terminal? We debate the issues with our panel.

Juliana Liu joins us live from Hong Kong with the latest Asian business stories, including China's plan to launch a rival to Wikipedia.

Plus we hear why 1970s rock giants The Eagles are suing a hotel in Mexico.
