The regional body is accused of trying to meddle in the country's internal affairs

Venezuela has said it will withdraw from the Organisation of American States in response to pressure over its political crisis, as violent unrest continues in Caracas. 

The Trump administration says it aims to pressure North Korea into dismantling its nuclear and missile programmes through diplomatic pressure and economic sanctions.

And the BBC in Uganda speaks to an old lady who was left to die on a tiny, swampy island with no shelter and nothing to eat when she was 12. She had been dumped there after she was found to be pregnant.
