Voting is underway for the first round of the French presidential election

French voters are voting in the first round of the presidential election on Sunday. If no candidate achieves 50% of the vote, then a run-off election between the two candidates with highest share of the vote will take place on 7th May. We get the latest from James Coomarasamy in Paris.
