He's planning of holding another referendum to reinstate the death penalty

The Turkish president, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, has narrowly won a referendum he called on his plans to substantially increase the powers of the presidency. 

The US vice-president, Mike Pence, has warned that all options are on the table for dealing with North Korea.

Thousands of Palestinian prisoners are due to start a hunger strike. They have been denouncing overcrowded prisons and demanding family visits and better medical treatment.
