Prosecutors in the Netherlands launch raids in several countries against tax evaders.

Credit Suisse embroiled in European investigations into client tax arrangements; South African political turmoil; crowdfunding real estate developments.

Prosecutors in the Netherlands have launched coordinated raids across Europe against suspected tax-evaders and money launderers with Swiss bank accounts. Credit Suisse is in the eye of the storm after several of its offices on the continent are visited by investigators. Thierry Boitelle, a lawyer with the Bonnard Lawson firm in Geneva, explains what the authorities are looking for.

In South Africa, President Jacob Zuma's sacking of his Finance Minister has unleashed civil war in his own party. Billions of dollars have been wiped off the value of the country's economy.
