A fraud investigator in Stoke-on-Trent takes on his biggest case yet.

Series following fraud investigators. The case against a multiple-identity fraudster is in danger of collapsing as she tries every trick in the book to avoid her day in court.

Britain on the Fiddle follows fraud investigators as they build cases against those they believe are cheating the system. Cases range from an unrepentant cigarette smuggler to a fraudster who has so many identities investigators aren't sure who they have under arrest. 

The case against a multiple-identity fraudster is in danger of collapsing as she tries every trick in the book to avoid her day in court. In Durham, an ex-serviceman who was injured in the line of duty tries to defend his honour, as his disability claim is investigated. And in Stoke-on-Trent, an investigator takes on his biggest case yet - a former property developer who is now milking the benefits system by using a second identity.
