Blas kicks off a full week on the road with Fearghal Mag Uiginn broadcasting live from An Carn for Seachtain na Gaeilge - Irish Language Week.

Cuireann Blas tús spleodrach leis an tseachtain iomlán seo amuigh ar an bhóthar agus Fearghal Mag Uiginn ag craoladh beo as An Carn, ionad pobail i gcroílár na Speiríní. Tá an-bhorradh faoin taobh seo tíre i láthair na huaire - tá peileadóirí Shleacht Néill ar tí cluiche ceannais Chraobh na hÉireann a imirt, agus an fhoireann camógaíochta céim amháin chun tosaigh orthu agus craobh uile-Éireann bainte amach acu cheana féin! Blas kicks off a full week on the road with Fearghal Mag Uiginn broadcasting live from An Carn, a community centre at the foot of Carntogher in the Sperrins. An Carn is at the heart of a vibrant rural community and there is currently a great buzz about the area with the local footballers, Slaughtneil, contesting the All-Ireland club final in just a few days, hoping to emulate the success of their camogie counterparts who have just brought home an All-Ireland. We chat to some of the community workers turning ambition into reality, hear some fabulous young local musicians, and of course Fearghal doesn't miss the chance to get his hands on an All-Ireland cup!
