Lauren Laverne has a live session from Ibibio Sound Machine featuring tracks from their latest album, Uyai.

Ibibio are back at 6 Music with tracks from their latest album 'Uyai'. Newly signed to Merge Records, the album's title means beauty in the Ibibio language of Nigeria. The London based 8-piece are led by frontwoman Eno Williams and played a storming set at the 6 Music Festival on Tyneside a few years ago. We can't wait to welcome their unique blend of West African funk, disco, modern post-punk, and electro to the Live Room.
