What happens when your spouse becomes ill and you have to take care of them?

Our series on caring continues. What happens when your spouse becomes ill and you have to take care of them? We speak to two listeners who care for their husbands.

'Diana: Her Fashion Story' traces the evolution of the style of Diana, Princess of Wales, from the demure, romantic outfits of her first public appearances, to the glamour, elegance and confidence of her later life. Today we start with the "debutante" dress dating back to 1979, when Lady Diana Spencer was just 18 years old and just two years from her marriage to The Prince of Wales. Georgina Hewes is joined by the exhibition's curator Eleri Lynn, and Fashion historian Amber Butchart. . 

And in the week that has seen the appointment of the first woman Metropolitan Police Commissioner, Cressida Dick, the final part of our series of interviews talking to other women in the Police Force. We hear WPC Cheryl Williams in November 1981 on the beat in Greenwich, the only Black Police Officer in that area of London, at the time. And Police Constable Investigator, Christel Tchakounte, from one of the murder squads in Lewisham joins Nikki live.

You might remember Sport England's This Girl Can campaign - women of all shapes, sizes and ability on our screens telling us mantras like "I might be slow but I'm lapping everyone on the couch". The campaign returns to our television screens with new women to inspire us. We speak to Catherine, a 67 year old British Military Fitness fan, who is part of the new advert. 

The Woman's Hour Craft Prize in partnership with the Crafts Council and the Victoria and Albert museum is currently being judged, winners to be announced later this year. But whether you've entered the prize, are a small business selling handmade goods, or are a hobbyist, one of the many benefits of making things with your hands is that it occupies your mind. So if you need any encouragement to restart that project in these dark days of winter, we'll be hearing from Dr Jayne Wallace, researcher in craft futures and glass artist Pinkie Maclure about what craft can do for your health.
