Demonstrations in Pretoria about immigration descended into violence - many unemployed South Africans accuse foreigners of taking their jobs

South Africa's government capital, Pretoria, has seen protests by anti-immigrant groups broken up by police with rubber bullets, tear gas and stun grenades, after clashes with immigrants. We hear from Nomsa Maseko, who's been talking to both sides. 

Meanwhile, in Japan, today is Premium Friday - the government is encouraging all offices to close early on the last Friday of every month, to give workers time off. Tsukasa Ohbayashi, editor in chief for Europe for Nikkei, explains why that's important in stopping the culture of karoshi - death through overwork.
