Tony Martin has played a prominent part on the Northern Ireland jazz scene for many years.

Tony recalls some great nights in the Whitla Hall and at the Glenmachan Hotel.

Given a toy drum kit as a youngster, was the first step on a jazz career which led Tony Martin to a remarkable journey as drummer and band leader. It also brought him into contact with other well-known drummers such as Buddy Rich and Sonny Payne.
