Taking its title from the word for a malicious act of witchcraft, ‘Maleficium’ draws on actual terrifying accounts of confessions at witch trials, to create voices for three imaginary characters.

Alice, Margery and Jinnet - a farm hand, a farmer's wife and an elderly ‘cunning-woman’, are brought to the point of tragedy when two of them accused of witchcraft by the other.
