Former Be Good Tanyas Jolie Holland and Samantha Parton perform a live session for Cerys.

Jolie Holland and Samantha Parton, who first joined forces in The Be Good Tanyas, perform a live session of new material for Cerys.

Jolie Holland and Samantha Parton who first joined forces in The Be Good Tanyas fifteen years ago perform a live session of new material for Cerys this morning.

Holland contributed to the Tanyas' Blue Horse LP in 2001 before moving on to become a favourite of Tom Waits and Guy Garvey. Parton continued to tour and record with The Be Good Tanyas playing Glastonbury & Cambridge Folk Festivals until two car accidents and other health concerns took her off the road in 2012.

Their new project is a page from the big book of North Americana and outsider folk.
