Carrie Fisher talks to Tim Sebastian about her life and career in an interview from 2000.

The daughter of two Hollywood stars, Debbie Reynolds and Eddie Fisher, Carrie Fisher was destined to be in movies. She started appearing on the stage with her mother when she was a little girl, but far from a fairy tale, her life turned into one of drug and alcohol abuse - the consequences of a 'having it all' lifestyle. Now a critical observer of Hollywood - 'another planet', as she calls it - Carrie Fisher has written wittily and at times caustically about her own life and parents. She talks to Tim Sebastian.
