It's Christmas Eve, and Big Bird and the Count visit Elmo for Christmas.

Preschool puppet show. Big Bird and the Count visit Elmo for Christmas but worry that Santa won't know to deliver their presents there.

It's Christmas Eve at the Furchester Hotel and Big Bird and the Count visit Elmo for Christmas. Everyone is happy and can't wait to take part in the Furchester Christmas traditions, but when Big Bird realises he forgot to tell Santa that he's going to be at the Furchester for Christmas, he worries that Santa might not bring him his presents there.

None of the other guests at the hotel told Santa either and soon a chain reaction of panic sweeps through the hotel. Phoebe, Funella and Furgus try to send a message to Santa to tell him, but it's too late to get a letter to the North Pole, so they decide to distract all the guests with their Christmas activities.

However, every mention of Santa makes everyone get worried again and Phoebe is upset because they've not finished any of the activities they started. Harvey P Dull points out to Elmo and Big Bird that there's more to Christmas than just getting presents and they realise they've ruined Christmas for Phoebe and they need to make it right. They get everyone in the Furchester together to complete all of Phoebe's favourite Christmas activities and finally it's time for bed. When they wake in the morning there is a pile of presents for everyone - Santa knew exactly where everyone was, of course!
