Proinsias Ó Coinn explores the history of Irish language revival movement Cumann An Fháinne, and the reasons behind its existence.

100 years after the start of the Irish language revival movement called 'Cumann An Fháinne', Proinsias Ó Coinn discovers why a group of Irish speakers felt the need to create a symbol to demonstrate their level of fluency in the language. He also gets an insight into the importance of the fáinne for Irish speakers today. This is a BBC Gaeilge 2016 production.
