THE LAST POETS by Christine Otten is a novel based on the THE LAST POETS' life stories, from their youth in the ghetto to their love lives, triumphs and defeats. Christine drops by to talk about the book and two of the original Last Poets Umar Bin Hassan and Abiodun Oyewole join her.

Janice speaks to JILL BRYSON, best known as one half of 80s popsters Strawberry Switchblade as she re-stages a performance art piece she created in 1981 which never made it to public view. It's at GSA this week as part of the launch of a new book exploring recent culture in Scotland called The Inventors of Tradition II. 

In light of the news that INVERLEITH HOUSE at the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh was closing as a contemporary art gallery, a spokesperson from the Botanics gives their side of the story.
