How does religious strand Heart And Soul reach out to people of all faiths?

Heart And Soul Producer, Richard McIlroy explains his attempts to cover a range of religious issues without offending people of certain faiths.

Heart And Soul is a weekly half hour programme which uses the real life experiences of people to explore religious belief and spirituality from around the world. But how does a programme about religion keep both conservative and liberal listeners on side?  Rajan Datar talks to Richard McIlroy, the producer of the programme to find out what steps he takes to mitigate against offending anyone. And, listener Georgina Benison from Oman is on the line to underpin just what keeps her listening. 

Also, a recent documentary, Oklahoma After the Bomb had many people getting in touch to say how moved they were by Emma Barnett’s visit to the city 21 years later.
