Clare English puts food writers under the spotlight to explore how they can entice us not only to cook more, but to READ more. Author Ghillie Basan speaks to Clare English about her cook books on Middle Eastern cuisine and how she tries to go beyond the food to also reflect the culture and the origins of the dish. Also, Amelia Thorne talks about her interactive cook book for children that can be completely personalised which is encouraging young children to gain valuable skills in reading and cooking
Poet Ryan Van Winkle speaks to Frankie Vaughan about a new event at the Edinburgh Food Studio where he is collaborating with chefs and other poets to provide diners with a unique experience of having their meal recited to them in poetry.
