Loop

Series 1

Episode 7

Duration: 15 minutes

Two of the fiercest and most flamboyant characters on Glasgow’s booming drag scene, Lacy Rain and Rujazzle, present a unique guide to terminology from the drag dictionary. Glasgow-based composer and musician C Duncan was nominated for last year’s Mercury Prize for his debut album, Architect. As he releases his second album, he shows Loop around the locations in the city which mean the most to him and have inspired his music and artwork. Photographer Ross Fraser McLean talks to Loop about his exhibition at Summerhall in Edinburgh which chronicles the Mexican Day of the Dead, a colourful celebration of the lives of the recently departed. And trans voices: As the National Theatre of Scotland and the Scottish Mental Health Arts and Film Festival staged a celebration of trans and non-binary experiences, we met members of The Adam World Choir - a community of over 100 performers from around the world who will be performing, virtually, in a new NTS production next year.
