Baby Kate tells Mei Lin an inspiring story in an attempt to get her to start walking.

Animation. Baby Kate tells Mei Lin the story of a little princess in the land of Hanzan-Niis in the hope that it will persuade her to start walking.

Join Arthur, possibly the world's most famous eight-year-old aardvark, his sisters DW and Kate, and some of their many friends: Buster, Francine, the Brain, Muffy, Sue Ellen, Fern, Prunella and Binky, as they encounter the joys and difficulties that all children experience in their adventures through life.

Binky's baby sister Mei Lin is not all that keen on learning to walk and would rather stick to crawling. But then Baby Kate and Pal's flea friends, brothers Pepe and Sale, return to Elwood City with a tale of a little princess in the land of Hanzan-Niis who learns to walk in order to save her beloved court jester. Will Mei Lin be inspired to take a stand or will she continue to stumble?
