Janice Forsyth celebrates 25 years of The Commitments with some of the original cast.

Janice Forsyth celebrates 25 years of Alan Parker's film The Commitments with Kenneth McCluskey, Dave Finnegan and Robert Arkins, plus she has a live session from Toy Tin Soldier.

Glasgow's Toy Tin Soldier performs a live music session, including a cover version of Bruce Springsteen's Born to Run. 

We have three original cast members from The Commitments to celebrate its 25th anniversary, Robert Arkins, Dave Finnegan and Kenneth McCluskey.

Jenny Ogden tells us about her aunt Mary Stewart's book The Wind off the Small Isles which was unearthed by the publisher and put back into print after more than four decades, and talks about the extraordinary woman she knew. 

Nick Balneaves browses the shelves of The Old Bank Bookshop and The Bookshop in Wigtown with the bookshop owners and finds out what people come looking for in Scotland's National Book Town. 

Emma Finn tells us about the job of a literary agent and how to get published ahead of a surgery for new writers at Wigtown Book Festival. 

C.MacLeod's Dream is Single of the Week. 

We hear about Glasgow Tramway's Unlimited Festival, which features extraordinary work by disabled artists, and Janice asks Glasgow-based multi-disciplinary and video game artist Maki Yamazaki, Candoco dance company's Saphia Bishop, and Creative Scotland's Leonie Bell about the triumphs and barriers which currently exist for disabled artists in Scotland and internationally, as well as talking about Maki and Saphia's own artworks. 

We hear about a six-day celebration of arts and culture in Forres, Findhorn Bay Arts Festival. 

And Vinyl Verdict is between Song for Whoever by the Beautiful South and Life in a Northern Town by Dream Academy.
