The US Treasury warns the EU about tax investigations into companies like Apple

The US Treasury Department issues a strongly-worded warning to the European Commission on taking action against US companies, including Apple, over alleged tax avoidance.

The US Treasury warns the European Commission about taking action against US companies over alleged tax avoidance. It comes ahead of a Brussels ruling on US tech giant Apple and its affairs in Ireland.

Global youth unemployment is on the rise again according to the International Labour Organisation. But the ILO is also worried about young people who live in extreme or what is called moderate poverty - despite having a job.

We speak to Aheda Zanetti, the inventor of the burkini, which has been at the centre of controversy in southern France where Rudy Salles, the deputy mayor of Nice, said wearing one was politically motivated and incompatible with European culture.  

Plus, Qatar buys 10% of the Empire State Building, and we hear from businesses on the Yellowstone River after it was closed indefinitely by the discovery of a deadly parasite killing fish.
