Why do so many of us have a dystopian view about the rise of artificial intelligence?

Robotic technology is moving forward in leaps and bounds. What's to fear? And why do so many of us dread it anyway?

The robots are coming so we're asking why so many of us fear technological change. Calestous Juma, an internationally recognised authority on the application of science and technology and professor at Harvard's Kennedy School of Government, explains the roots of that fear looking back at the history of technological advancement.
