Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, nephew to the legendary Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan straddles the world of both Qawwali and Bollywood music. He commands the best songs that movie directors have to offer and is recognised as a dominate vocal force. 

Ray Khan talks to Rahat about his early life growing up around Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, his journey to becoming a singer himself, his experience of Bollywood and of course his life away from music too. Ray Khan also plays some of Rahats favourite music and the music that has accompanied Rahat through his life. 

We also open the doors to the Shayri Club in which listeners can share their own Urdu poetry and Ray plays an hour of love song requests and dedications after 11pm.
