Obama praises Clinton; Pakistan honour killing; Pope Francis in Poland

Speaking at the Democratic National Convention, President Obama has praised Hillary Clinton saying, "She is a leader with real plans to break down barriers and blast through glass ceilings." Police in Pakistan have begun a murder investigation into the death of a British woman who died there last week while visiting relatives in northern Punjab. The Pope is in Krakow celebrating World Youth Day, a week-long Roman Catholic festival with hundreds of thousands of young pilgrims. The Pope has said "the world is at war," in relation to recent terror attacks but stressed that this was not a religious war.
