Billy Sloan highlights the career of Scottish singer and guitarist Jimme O'Neill.

Billy Sloan plays tracks written by Stuart Adamson, plus he highlights the career of Scottish singer and guitarist Jimme O'Neill in Musical Chairs.

Billy Sloan plays the very best in pop and rock music from Scotland's greats as well as the rest of the world with regular features Spin The Globe and Early Morning Soul. In this weekend's Musical Chairs feature Billy highlights the career of Scottish singer, composer and guitarist Jimme O'Neill, of The Silencers and Fingerprintz fame and also associated with the likes of Paul Young, Lene Lovich, Rachel Sweet, Lostboy AKA Jim Kerr & Manfred Mann's Earthband. The Live and Dangerous tracks are from Elvis Presley's 'Complete '68 Comeback Special' album (pioneering rock guitarist Scotty Moore, who was a member of Elvis Presley's original band, died this week at the age of 84). In Movie Moment Billy's playing 'Stonehenge' by Spinal Tap from the mockumentary comedy film 'This Is Spinal Tap' and in Classic Songwriters, there's tracks from the pen of Stuart Adamson.
