Dr David Hamilton, author and expert on the power of the mind, tells Gillian Russell about the importance of developing a positive mind-set and what it can do for so many aspects of our lives. He says it takes practice and involves training, just like an athlete has to do...!

Paralympian Karen Darke has just been awarded a place in the Rio Paralympic Games. She kept an audio diary while she was training for the World Championship time trials. She shares her feelings of how she was in a negative frame of mind for a while - making excuses, talking herself out of it - and reveals what she had to do to regain a more positive mental attitude.
