Billy Sloan plays tracks written by Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller in Classic Songwriters, plus he highlights the career of musician and songwriter Leon Russell in Musical Chairs.

Billy Sloan plays the very best in pop and rock music from Scotland's greats as well as the rest of the world with regular features Spin The Globe and Early Morning Soul. In this weekend's Musical Chairs feature Billy highlights the career of American musician and songwriter Leon Russell, solo career and recorded with many artists including Joe Cocker, Bob Dylan, Badfinger, George Harrison, Elton John and Willie Nelson. The Live and Dangerous tracks are from Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band's live album 'Live 1975-1985'. In Movie Moment Billy's playing 'Get Down Tonight' by KC & The Sunshine Band from the movie Forrest Gump and in Classic Songwriters, there's tracks from the songwriting partnership of Leiber and Stoller.
