Jane Lewis sits in for Fiona Stalker. We catch up with the Monk family from New Zealand who are currently cycling from Kenitra to Ballater! Hammer throwing, caber tossing, wellie throwing, cycle stunt performers and that's just for starters! 

Plus if your name is Gordon you'll get a special welcome... we find out more Gordon Castle's Highland Games! A knotty twisted trunk, covered with grey or reddish brown scaly bark?! Jill Donnachie from Woodland Trust Scotland will have more on the latest edition to our tree of the month! 

And staff and pupils from Banchory Academy are about to set off on an exceptional expedition via mountain bike, canoe and on foot!
