This week's show features music from a recently discovered recording made by jazz pianist Bill Evans in Germany in 1968. There is also music from pianist Gerald Wiggins.

One of the most influential modern jazz pianists, Bill Evans, made a unique recording in Germany in 1968 which has now come to light and is available on a double CD with accompanying essays and photographs. Jazz Club this week features some of those recordings, alongside another pianist who, like Evans, preferred to work in trio format - Gerald Wiggins.
