Donald Trump is the presumptive Republican candidate for President; Hopes for a truce in the Syrian city of Aleppo; 'Black Arm Band' is promoting reconciliation among Australians.

Donald Trump can now go to the Republican convention in July with the firm expectation of being named the party candidate for the presidency.  

Hopes are high that a truce may be extended to the Syrian city of Aleppo where more than 250 people have been killed in recent days by shelling and bombing from both sides in the conflict.

'Black Arm Band' - a group of Australian musicians - are touring the world with a show about reconciliation between the white and aboriginal communities within their country.
