War in South Sudan; PKK conflict in Turkey; Tribute to Papa Wemba

David Riing is a refugee living outside Juba, the capital of South Sudan. He's told Newsday that war has affected generations of his family.

The Kurdish separatist group the PKK has told the BBC that it is prepared to step-up its war with Turkey.

And tributes have been pouring in for the Congolese music star Papa Wemba. He died on stage during a music festival in Ivory Coast.
