James Bay: Like a Rolling Stone

Duration: 17 minutes

The man with the hat, Hertfordshire singer-songwriter and rock ‘n’ roller James Bay, takes us on a private trip around the Rolling Stones’ major new installation, EXHIBITIONISM at the Saatchi Gallery in the King’s Road.

Bay is a longstanding Stones’ fan who was recently joined onstage by Ronnie Wood. Ronnie had watched Bay perform at the British GQ Awards in September 2015. ‘I sat at a table with Keith Richards and we both went Wow! That kid’s got it!’ Now, on the morning off from a headlining show at Hammersmith Apollo and a few days before Exhibitionism opens to the public, Bay gets to take the measure of his heroes and walk in their shoes at what has been described as ‘the most comprehensive and immersive insight into the Stones in 9 thematic galleries. Exhibitionism is a guide through the Stones’ 50 year history, full of mementoes, sets and iconic costumes that offers the inside track into what it’s been like to stay the course in The Greatest Rock ‘n’ Roll Band.

James Bay won the Brits’ Critics Award in 2015 and Best Male Artist in 2016 and has conquered the world with his debut album, Chaos and the Calm. Show less
