A 58-year old Glaswegian discovers the unexpected benefits of a sudden surge of hormones.

Gary McGuire likes a drink, is suspicious of hugging and never, ever, talks about his feelings. He's ripe for a life-changing experience and when he begins a course of anti-androgen therapy to shrink his prostate tumour, that's exactly what he gets.
