Everyone's planning a festival, but when clumsy Ernie tries to help, everything is ruined.

Children's series. When clumsy Ernie offers to help with a tea festival, everything is ruined. Ernie decides it is best to leave Staithes.

Bernard Cribbins stars in a special 35-minute version of this storytelling series. At the Mermaid Café everyone is planning a tea festival, but when clumsy Ernie offers to help, everything is ruined. Devastated, Ernie decides that the only way he can really help is to leave Staithes for good. But he doesn't even do that right and traps himself inside the Rainbow. Old Jack helps Ernie realise that friends have to pull together. Maybe they'll have that tea festival after all!
