The latest effort to bring the warring parties in Syria to negotiations is due to begin in Geneva today, with diplomats hoping to build on the fragile truce. 

President Erdogan of Turkey has vowed to bring terrorism to its knees, after a bomb attack on Ankara left more than thirty people dead.

A rocket carrying the first joint mission to Mars by Europe and Russia is due to blast off from Kazakhstan today. It's carrying a probe that will be sent to the Martian surface to test the technologies needed to land a rover there on future missions
