The battles commence, as the coaches choose who they want to take to the knockouts.

The battles commence, as coaches will.i.am, Boy George, Paloma Faith and Ricky Wilson choose the artists they want to take to the knockouts.

As the battles commence, the premise is simple: one song - two voices - one winner, as coaches will.i.am, Boy George, Paloma Faith and Ricky Wilson choose the artists they want to take to the knockouts. 
 
Each battle sees two artists from the same team compete against each other in a vocal showdown. After each battle, the artists' own coach must decide who will progress to the knockout stage - and who will be sent home. 
 
But it's not quite over for the losing artist. The other coaches can steal a losing artist for their own team. Each coach gets two steals - if they missed out on an act during the blind auditions, this is their chance to finally grab them.
