Bollywood playback singer Jaspinder Narula takes us on a musical journey through her life singing religious songs to being propelled into cinema stardom.

Jaspinder Narula spent her early career singing bhajans (Hindu devotional music, before she was encouraged by a film music director to move to the capital of the Indian movie industry Mumbai and take up a career as a backing singer. Bollywood stardom soon followed with songs in movies including Pyar To Hona Hi Tha Mohabbatein and Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani.

Ray Khan speaks to Jaspinder taking her back to her early childhood right through her most prolific years in the film industry to the present day accompanied by her favourite music along the way.
