A plan to deliver humanitarian aid and a proposed ceasefire - is this a sign of hope for Syria or another false dawn? We'll hear the verdict of America, Russia and Syria.

Also on the programme, as Britain contemplates leaving the European Union, we'll hear about an unusual inducement from Germany for them to stay.

In Egypt, one of the thousands of political prisoners is Irish citizen Ibrahim Halawa who was arrested 2 and a half years ago when he was just 17. He has been on hunger strike for 140 days. His sister Omaina was arrested with him but released 3 months later. She's been telling us more about the situation in Egypt now.
