A resigning Ukraine economy Minister, Aivaras Abromavicius, says obstructive officials within his own government made his efforts at tackling corruption impossible. He says graft and cronyism remains rife in Ukraine's corridors of power. 

Also, two new start-ups offer high-tech solutions to enduring problems. No more pay-walls - Alexander Klopping, the founder of Blendle, says his company has the answer to providing a revenue stream for newspapers providing high-end journalism. And, Jay Giraud, founding CEO of Mojio says he has software that will allow intelligent cars to talk to you, telling you things like how fast your son is driving when he borrows it, when it has been stolen or towed, and where you can find a vacant parking spot. He says it could revolutionise motoring.
