Bob catches up with Texas-born Joe Pug and hears live session versions of tracks from his third album Windfall. Bob also pays tribute to his friend David Bowie.

Austin, Texas born Joe Pug dropped out of college and took on work as a carpenter in Chicago, but got his musical start by providing CDs for his fans to pass along to their friends.

Joe then toured incessantly behind his debut album Messenger in 2010 and the follow-up The Great Despiser in 2012 - playing over four hundred shows, including stops at Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo, The Newport Folk Festival and European dates with long-time champion Steve Earle.

Bob catches up with his story and hears live session versions of tracks from his third album Windfall.

Bob also pays tribute to his friend David Bowie with album tracks and sessions from his Sounds of The Seventies show on BBC Radio 1.
