Billy Sloan continues to highlight the career of keyboardist and songwriter Rick Wakeman, plus he plays songs inspired by Santa Claus in the Real Thing.

Billy Sloan plays the very best in pop and rock music from Scotland's greats as well as the rest of the world with regular features Spin The Globe and Early Morning Soul. In this weekend's Musical Chairs, Billy highlights the career of keyboardist and songwriter Rick Wakeman, solo career and best known for being the former keyboardist in the progressive rock band Yes, also associated with T.Rex, Anderson Bruford Wakeman & Howe, David Bowie and Elton John. The Great Collaborations track features KT Tunstall and Ed Harcourt and Billy pays a song inspired by real people in the new feature The Real Thing (a really festive one this weekend; Santa Claus!).
