Marc Riley has a session from Field Music ahead of the release of fifth album Commontime.

Field Music in session tonight spreading comfort and joy at this festive time. Joining us ahead of the release of 5th album Commontime.

Field Music, the creative partnership of brothers Peter and David Brewis, began as a side project of David's full time band, The Futureheads. It's since become another of the Brewis brothers' astonishing number of musical projects. So pervasive is the brothers' influence that, if you're in the North East, chances are you will at some point have been in an art-rock band with one if not both of Sunderland's most dynamic music duo.
