Join Arthur, possibly the world's most famous eight-year-old aardvark, his sisters DW and Kate, and their friends Buster, Francine, the Brain, Muffy, Sue Ellen, Fern, Prunella and Binky as they encounter the joys and difficulties that all children experience in their adventures through life. Based on the popular children's books by Marc Brown.

To boost school pride, Arthur and his classmates form the Lakewood Pride Committee, which immediately and fervently adds members, distributes buttons and creates special chants. But Brain and Sue Ellen, feeling pressured, decide that they do not want to join, and are accused of not loving their school. Can they prove that they are proud of Lakewood Elementary even if they are not part of this new group?
