A special programme celebrating the life and music of Nick Talbot, aka Gravenhurst.

A special programme celebrating the life and music of Nick Talbot, aka Gravenhurst including contributions from BBC Radio 6 Music’s Lauren Laverne and Gideon Coe.

As part of BBC Intro this week we're including a special programme celebrating the life and music of Nick Talbot, aka Gravenhurst. The hour-long programme will include contributions from BBC Radio 6 Music’s Lauren Laverne and Gideon Coe, Maximo Park's Paul Smith, Sophie Harris, author Phil Rickman, Julian Owen, and Nick's band-mates Claire Adams and Rachel Lancaster.

Under the alias Gravenhurst, Nick was supported by BBC Introducing for 10 years whilst making music in Bristol. The programme will feature tracks from the three sessions that Richard Pitt recorded with Nick over the years.

The special programme is presented by Richard Pitt, and produced by Richard Pitt and Toby Field.
