In a special edition of Talking Movies the programme focuses on some of the year's stronger documentaries.

From the tragic death of the iconic British singer Amy Winehouse in Amy to the inspirational life of Pakistani teenager Malala Yousafzai in He Named Me Malala documentary films in 2015 have, with their subject matter, touched audiences around the world. In a special edition of Talking Movies the programme focuses on some of the year's stronger documentaries. So far 2015 is proving to be a stellar year for non-fiction cinema - filmmakers are exploring new subjects and deploying some innovative techniques in order to bring their stories home.
