Three home cooks make dishes using ingredients put together by Strictly's Vincent Simone.

Amateur cooking competition. Three home cooks are pitted against each other as they try to make dishes using ingredient boxes put together by Strictly's Vincent Simone.

Three enthusiastic home cooks are pitted against each other as they try to make a delicious dish using the day's ingredient boxes. The first test is to create something from a box put together by Strictly Come Dancing's Vincent Simone.

In the second challenge, James Martin selects the ingredients to go into three new boxes. The contestants have to choose between a bird box, a shellfish box and a basic box. Based on the dishes from this second test, James Martin decides who triumphs and wins Cook of the Day!
