Three home cooks make dishes using ingredient boxes put together by JB Gill.

Amateur cooking competition. Three home cooks are pitted against each other as they try to make dishes using ingredient boxes put together by former JLS member JB Gill.

Three enthusiastic home cooks are pitted against each other as they try to make a delicious dish using the day's ingredient boxes. The first test is to create something from a box put together by former JLS member JB Gill.

In the second challenge, James Martin selects the ingredients to go into three new boxes. The contestants have to choose between a global box, a basic box and a shellfish box. Based on the dishes from this second test, James Martin decides who triumphs and wins Cook of the Day!
