He tells Ray about his early days as a struggling poet, his stints as a journalist and even as a lawyer before he was finally discovered by music director Mahesh Bhat and thrust into stardom as the writer of the massive 2013 hit Sun Raha Hai Na Tu from Aashiqui 2.
